Through Our Eyes

"Wow"
said one of us right after we get in.

"This is crazy."
said almost all of us, multiple times, not simultaneously, in front of the artworks.

"This one looks like a duck," "..and this one looks like a spaceship."
said one of us, trying to figure out the abstract paintings.

"I don't understand it."
said one of us, finally.

Those are the conversations that would be heard, when my friends and I visit ROH Projects in Equity Tower, SCBD.
An art exhibition sure should fascinates people, otherwise it's not really successful.
But as an architecture students we're not just saying that in wow, but we were also terrified because it could be something that we'll be facing in the future, yet we didn't understand it.

However, it didn't terrify us for a long time, for it was art. An ambiguous thing, which should not have to be understood by everyone. But to be understood with one's own perspective. And it could be different with another.

Therefore, we had so much fun guessing what was the artist trying to say from this artwork, and what was it that we got from our perspective.

And finally, got inspired.
